Amazing Tour of Antrim Coastline , Giants Causeway, Game Of Thrones Locations We booked our day tour with Jimmy well in advance of our arrival to Belfast. Our pickup at the hotel was punctual and the vehicle was immaculate. We started our tour looking at the murals and cobble stone streets in the Cathedral Quarter as Jimmy provided a history of the area and recommended pubs and restaurants. Next, we proceeded to the Causeway Coastal Route. Along the way our stops included Royal Portrush Golf Course, Bushmills Distillery, Giants Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede, and Game of Thrones filming sites. As we worked our way back to Belfast we stopped at Bonamargy Friary, a hidden treasure adjacent to the Ballycastle golf course. Jimmy explained the history of the Black Nun as we toured the ruins. Jimmy was very personable, professional, informative and an excellent driver, tour guide and story teller! We highly recommend Jimmy for your personal tour of Belfast.

Amazing Tour of Antrim Coastline , Giants Causeway, Game Of Thrones Locations . We took a tour of the Causeway Coast with RD Chauffeur Service in November and it was the highlight of our trip. The weather was surprisingly good, and our driver Jimi planned our day according. Jimi was a fantastic driver who was very personable and took excellent care of us. We visited the Giants Causeway, Carrick rope bridge, many locations where the GOT was filmed, Kinbane Castle, had lunch at a picturesque restaurant (The Salt House) over looking a stunning view of the coast and many more exciting things along the way. We finished the day off with a political tour of Belfast; Jimi was extremely knowledgeable and our personal historian. We had a worry free day and knew we saw all the major and minor sites. I would highly recommend this tour company and Jimi to all friends and family. Can’t wait to go back to Northern Ireland!

Outstanding Experience I have had the pleasure of having Chauffeur tour this year in Northern Ireland. The driver James (AKA Jimi) picked our family up for a full day tour of the Northern Coast. Our tour was supposed to start at 9am but after speaking to Jimi, I requested that we start an hour early due to shortened daylight hours in the winter. Our request was easily accommodated and we were off promptly at 8am. James was born in Belfast and has a wealth of knowledge about this history of Northern Ireland and the Troubles. He took us for a short tour around Belfast before we left for the stunning North Coast. On our way we stopped at Andrew Jackson’s parents home. I was surprised to learn that our former President was of Irish decent. James also educated us on the history of the US Rangers and their connection to Carrickfergus during the WWII. We visited the Carrick-A-Rede bridge and the magical Giant’s Causeway. He even shared a few fairy tales along the way. My girl’s and I are huge Game of Thrones fans and our tour did not disappoint. We stopped at several filming locations and visited the jewellery maker where several pieces were created for the show. With James’ suggestion we enjoyed a fabulous lunch at the Bushmill’s Inn before heading to the distillery for our tasting. We ended the day with a stop at the beautiful Dark Hedges another filming location for GoT. We spent 2 weeks in Ireland between Christmas and New Years, my family agreed that this was by far the favourite day of our trip. A 5 star service with charm and good hearted fun. Let them spoil you…you won’t be disappointed.

As a group of 6 Americans, we used this service and Jimmie as our driver. He picked us up in Dublin and drove us to Bushmills where we stayed for 2 nights. The van was spacious and comfortable. Jimmie was very knowledgeable and friendly. I most enjoyed his discussion and review with us of “the Troubles” and helped me understand more completely the entire issue with Brexit and the issue of the border. On the second day, we drove us through Belfast, showing us the walls and the graffiti that are constant reminders that the Troubles are not yet gone. HIs knowledge, along with his friendliness and driving skills, made our time with him the highpoint of our trip. Thanks

Our driver Jimmy came with a new van packed with beverages and snacks. Our traveling companion has Irish routes going back a few generations and he asked about making stop along the way (more or less) to try to find the ancestral home of his great uncle who died during the civil war in 1921 – we had a vague address and Jimmy was happy to oblige so off we went off the “A” roads onto some “B” and “C’s then onto a few roads that probably didn’t have any sort of designation. Jimmy located the townland and graveyard of the area on our GPS we walked down a dirt road that led to several cleared bogs and peat fields. We took some pictures and walked back to the van and were about to head off when an odd red van stopped nearby and a middle-aged man came out inquiring about our intentions – turns out he was concerned that we might be pilfering his peat fields. When our friend described his true intent the local man became very interested as he was involved in local historical legacy and this led to an amazing series of contacts that led us to the cemetery where his relative was born, plaques honouring his memory and the site of the ancestral home. All of this was made possible by Jimmy and the wonderful service that he provided which was way more than he was originally bargaining for. We are all indebted to him!

My wife and I and our 4 sons (17 to 28 years old) were delighted to spend a half day with James on a driving tour of Belfast. James was not only accommodating to our thoughts on what we wanted to see in Belfast but was able to make more suggestions that we all enjoyed. In a relatively brief time together, we were able to get a wonderful taste of Belfast. A very memorable day in Northern Ireland with James We were picked up promptly at our hotel by James. He was dressed very professionally and was driving a brand new Mercedes. Talk about making a great first impression. We had such a memorable day touring the glens of Antrim, the giants causeway, the Bushmills distillery, various game of thrones filming locations and Van Morrison’s childhood home. James was interesting, funny, kind and very knowledgeable. He totally customized the trip for us and added lots of interesting information and stops that we hadn’t thought of. He made an excellent recommendation for lunch and helped with our dinner plans for that night. We never felt rushed and got to see everything we wanted to and much more. Exceptional Cruise Experience Experienced a wonderful tour of Northern Ireland while visiting on a Celebrity cruise in August. James was our driver/guide. We were picked up from the terminal in a new Mercedes van that comfortably sat the six of us. We made stops at various castles and Game of Thrones sites while making our way up to Giant’s Causeway. It was great to see the massive cruise ship coaches parked a few blocks from the sites we were able to pull right up to. James had backup plans for any changes to the itinerary forced by the weather. He also made reservations for us at a great little café for lunch. James helped us navigate the tasting room at Bushmills before heading back for a drive around the sites of Belfast. It was a great mix of history, a chance to see the beautiful countryside and mix in some pop culture. The tour exceeded expectations and if (when) I return to Northern Ireland I will certainly use James again

To get a good taste of the countryside in Northern Ireland, my friend and I opted to do the private, personal tour featuring sites like Giant’s Causeway, Dark Hedges, Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, Ballygally Castle, Ballintoy Harbour, and various other GOT sites. We were extremely lucky to fall under the good graces of James (aka Jimmy) who gave us an excellent insight into the gems and pearls that Belfast and other landmarks have to offer! In addition to the wondrous beauties of the land, Jimmy added Irish folklore (or fact if you like), charm, and went out of his way to make sure we had a great time. He even made a pit stop for us to try some of the local fare (seaweed called dulse) and provided a homemade chocolate treat! Even though the tour was supposed to end by a certain time, Jimmy stopped by the C.S. Lewis Square for us afterward for extra photos. (He knew all the good photo ops). The comfortable ride in the country definitely didn’t hurt as well! For anyone looking for a leisurely paced and fun visit to the Northern Isle, this tour and Jimmy as your guide would be highly recommended! Thank you!

Above and beyond exceptional My family took a private drive from Belfast to Dublin and our driver’s name was James. He went above and beyond with his service, making the drive far from ordinary. The positive experience didn’t end when James got us safely to our hotel. After taking us through the beautiful country side and making sure we were comfortable on the way, James was also a great conversationalist and it felt like we made a new lasting friend. When I realised I had left a bag of valuables back at our original hotel in Belfast. He promised to retrieve my belongings and did so within a day. Not only did he stand out as one of the coolest, kindest people we met while in Ireland, because of James, I will fondly remember Ireland as a place of genuinely outstanding people.

I didn’t know what to expect on my first trip to Northern Ireland.
Jimi was our guide and driver; he pridefully showed us breathtaking beautiful coastline and was very personable and knowledgeable about the history of Northern Ireland from an objective perspective.
There are so many special places, gardens, castles and friendly docents who are eager to share the history magical places.
Jimi discovered an interesting fellow who gave us a tour of Andrew Jackson’s home as a wee lad.
James was also prompt, well-dressed and quickly sorted out who was who; we were a party of 5.
We truly hated to leave him after he dropped us in Dublin.
You improved our trip immeasurably and I was sad that we had to bid him goodbye.
